Refund Policy

At Gravity Dance Company we are committed to providing high-quality dance instruction and experiences for our students and families. Please review our refund and cancellation policies carefully before registering for classes or events.

1. Registration Fees

Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

2. Monthly Tuition

Tuition reserves a student’s place in class and is due according to the studio’s payment schedule.

  • Tuition payments are non-refundable once processed.

  • Missed classes are not eligible for refunds.

  • Makeup classes may be offered at the discretion of the Studio and based on availability.

  • Students who withdraw from classes must provide written notice to the Studio.

3. Withdrawal Policy

To discontinue enrollment, written notice must be submitted to gravityco419@gmail.com before the next billing cycle.

If notice is not received before billing is processed, the upcoming tuition payment may still be charged and will not be refunded.

4. Camps, Workshops & Special Events

Refunds for camps, workshops, masterclasses, and special events may be available if cancellation is requested at least 7 days before the event.

  • Cancellations after this period may not be eligible for refunds.

  • No refunds will be issued for missed attendance.

  • The Studio reserves the right to cancel events due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In these cases, a refund or studio credit may be provided.

If notice is not received before billing is processed, the upcoming tuition payment may still be charged and will not be refunded.

5. Costume Fees & Competition Fees

Costume fees, competition fees, convention fees, tickets, and similar specialty expenses are generally non-refundable once orders or reservations have been placed.

6. Private Lessons

Private lesson cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.

Late cancellations or missed private lessons may be charged in full.

7. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method when possible.

  • Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or financial institution.

8. Illness, Injury & Emergencies

Refunds or credits due to illness, injury, or emergency situations may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the discretion of the Studio.

Documentation may be requested.

9. Class Changes & Studio Closures

The Studio reserves the right to:

  • Change instructors

  • Adjust schedules

  • Combine or cancel classes

  • Close due to holidays, weather, emergencies, or unforeseen events

Whenever possible, makeup classes, credits, or alternative arrangements may be offered.
